Our lab creates 3D models using a variety of digital techniques. These include image-based modeling, photogrammetry – from ground or drone-acquired images – and 3D modeling from scratch, meaning the digital creation of objects and structures directly in a 3D environment without photographic surveys or scans.
This section showcases a selection of 3D models produced as part of our research, documentation, and dissemination activities. Each model reflects a process of study and reconstruction, with the aim of exploring, communicating, and preserving elements of geographical and historical heritage.
