We gladly receive and relay news that the “Polarquest” documentary was awarded with the Sustainable Tourism and Ecology Prize at the Terres Film Festival.
The third edition of the Festival, focused on sustainable development and environmental tourism, was held in Tortosa and took place between April 26th and May 5th. It has been characterized by a wide multicultural audience, involving 108 productions from 24 different countries.
Polarquest is a 55 minute documentary authored by Dorothée Adam Mazard and Alwin Courcy, released by Ushuaïa TV; it describes the Arctic research and communication expedition PolarQuest 2018 with footage and interviews taken on board of the experimental boat NANUQ.
The voyage of the boat and its crew, from Iceland to Greenland, Svalbard and continental Norway, was a multidisciplinary activity involving history, science and environmental awareness for a more sustainable future.
GREAL wishes to express its congratulations to the winners of the award for their relevant achievement.
